London, June 2018Even when she was in Italy, June had always been one of Alessia’s favorite months, along with all the months in which a season ended and a new one began: many women didn’t share her view, she knew, because it was often difficult to think of what to wear in these periods, but for Alessia every shift in the temperature, every breeze, every drop of rain, represented an opportunity to change the way she dressed without ever becoming boring. When Hans showed up at the beginning of the month to show her his samples for the upcoming trip to the US, she found them exciting and new, even though they weren’t suitable for her high-fashion shop.
