Janette shut her eyes tight and facepalmed. "What are you doing here, Lucas?" she asked, her tone softer than she intended.
Lucas smiled and sat down, facing her. "Have you forgotten, Doc?" he asked, his tone formal which made Janette arch a brow. "I have an Aunt in your hospital. I came to see her. She's doing wonderfully well, and I wanted to thank the genius doctor who made it happen."
