Janette got a call from the school and was asked to come for an important meeting. She had to quickly rush there, worried that something might have happened to Ethan or Amaya again. Were they bullied by a new student? Did Ethan get his allergies again?
As she stepped out of her car and rushed to the teacher’s office, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of worry that washed over her. But when she entered and saw Bella seated on the chair with Lucas beside her, she is sure something was definitely wrong.
Janette paused, her eyes darting from Bella to Lucas. What were they doing here? And why the heck was she called here? If it was about how her son bullied Lucas, she wasn’t in the mood for all that, and wasn’t going to stand for anything they were going to say today.
