"I am fine, Dad," I assured my father on the phone.
"Princess, your mother had a dream that you were in danger. She was worried about you, we both were."
"That was just a dream, Dad. You know me. I am capable of saving myself."
He sighed. "I know you are more than capable, but I am worried about you. What about that bloodthirsty monster? Did he harm you?" His voice was sharp with anger.
Eva snarled inside me hearing that monster word against Damian.
"He is not doing anything, Dad. I am fine," I said, trying to ease the tension in his voice.
"He is doing great things with us, Evelyn, said this to our dad."
Eva said and sent those sinful images of last night in my head the way his tongue had moved, and the immense pleasure I felt the first time.
Heat rushed to my cheeks.
