Chapter 8
Dana couldn’t believe what was happening. One minute she was on a blind date, and now she was someone’s girlfriend? She’d been shocked to feel a zap of electricity run through her as someone grabbed her hand. Though at first she was ready to knock it off, she’d been surprised to see Josh pull her to her feet and then into a hug while he whispered something into her ear.
The hug had been unexpected, but it had warmed her insides, and all she’d thought of at that moment was the feeling of his arms around her and the tingling of her skin where his touched hers. His woodsy mint scent had fanned her face as he’d whispered into her ear and she’d wished she could inhale in more. But he’d soon turned her back to her date. “Hi, I’m Josh. Dana is my girlfriend. Who are you?” he’d said.
