Dana was still in shock from how large Josh’s home was when Josh knocked on the study door and ushered her in. She’d had an idea that his family was wealthy, but she didn’t think they were that rich. Which meant that Josh’s parents might not approve of her, given she was not from their social circle. Not that she was really planning to date him or anything.
Prof. Roman stood by a large window, wearing a grey V-necked sweater over a white shirt with tan slacks. He turned when they entered, and Dana saw his eyes widen in recognition for a moment. An unknown emotion crossed his face before he schooled his features.
