Chapter 12
Dana rushed into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. Good thing it was only a couple steps away from the study. She leaned against the door and exhaled.
The atmosphere in the study had been tense, unlike what she had expected. And from the look of things, it was not the first time they’d had a heated argument. Who would have guessed Josh had a not-so-great relationship with his father?
Dana washed her hands in the sink, dried them, and fixed her hair. Now, she felt better and more prepared to face whatever was going on. She opened the bathroom door and stepped out. Loud voices were coming from the direction of the study.
