Chapter 14
Dana stretched and yawned as shards of light pierced the gaps between the floral curtains that hung over her windows. She’d had a fitful night’s sleep as a result of all that happened yesterday. Good thing she wasn’t on-call today. She was free for the most part unless an emergency happened and could laze around the apartment if she wanted, which was what she planned to do.
Engaged. It still seemed like a joke. What was Josh thinking yesterday to have blurted it out? She didn’t really know much about him except what she had heard from Alicia, and learned of him the few times she had seen him when Alicia and Blake had all their friends together.
