Josh shook his head in wonder as he stretched out his legs in front of him. He was in the surgical call room working on the notes for his second emergency surgery of the day. The patient was a college football star who had needed emergency ACL repair to preserve his chances of being able to play again. Though the surgery had gone well, he would still be out of commission for a few months and would miss the rest of the football season.
Josh chuckled. He had just ended a call with his mother, who had gushed with praise about Dana and especially how she had impressed her friends. Apparently, Dana had won over the Wonder Six. A true miracle if there ever was one. How had she done it? The Wonder Six were known to be hard to please and rarely ever gave their stamp of approval. Yet,
