Chapter 21
Dana lay on her bed and tucked the duvet around her. The air outside was a bit chilly and seemed to permeate the house despite the central heating.
The mini-golf tournament had been so much fun, and it had been great catching up with Alicia and Willow. She’d only caught glimpses of Josh here and there, like he’d made an effort to avoid her. She and Jasmine had only arrived back home about an hour ago.
Once she’d taken a hot shower, Dana had logged into the electronic medical records to see which patients had been admitted to her team over the weekend and to read up on their case notes. Tomorrow promised to be a grueling day with all the new patients to follow up and surgeries planned. It was best to go to bed as early as possible so that she would be well rested for the next
