After that kiss, Zachery walked out my room closing the behind him. I fixed myself and proceeded out the door into the dining room. I saw everyone sat at the table and only one seat available which was next to Zachery. I took my seat and shifted uncomfortably, "Ana now that your back, we need to talk about your position in the mafia" he dad spoke as he sat at the head of table "you will be assisting Zachery with the mafia considering you are no longer dead, However, there is the Mafia ball coming up where I will announce my retirement and a point you two as the heads." my jaw dropped, well s**t I didn't expect this "Also" he said and his tone changed "Ana you and Zachery will need to be engage in order to fully access the mafia's true assets" I choked on the water I was drinking when he was talking "engaged you say" I looked at him then I looked at Zachery who looked like he saw a ghost. He didn't see this coming either.

"The ball will be in 4 days, so I need you to get along and get to know each other" He said, everyone was silent, all I can do is just nod my head. The food came and everyone began to eat, I was lost in thought about the marriage arrangement when I felt a hand on my thigh. I acted normal, however I glanced at the table to see if anyone notice anything. "Oh and Anathasia, after the ball you will move your things into Zachery room" I nearly died, I started choking on the food now, my mother hand me a glass water and I chugged it "Dad you need to work on timing of saying things like that, I almost died" he chuckled "I'm sorry" he smiled. The hand on my thigh went high and I started to move around "Ana dear, is everything alright" my mother asked me looking at me with a confused expression "y-yes mother I'm perfectly fine, just processing all of this" she smiled.

My breathing became uneven because his hand was near the entrance of m underwear, He wouldn't do that would he? I stuffed the food in my mouth and excuse myself, I bolted up the stairs, bursting through the door of my room. I leaned against the door with my heart racing and face fully red. Once I gathered myself, I sat on my bed, when I heard a knock on my door, I got up to answer the door. When I opened it there he was "hey there y fiancé" my face grew red again, I let him in and close the door. We walked over to my bed and sat on the edge "so about your death, I know I wanted to hear what happened from you but Sam took the words from your mouth" he said, I looked him in the eyes for the first time, I mean actually looked him in the eyes " I'm sorry it took me so long to come to you, with all that happened, I didn't want anything to happen to you" I said taking his hand in mine. "hey you got me out, you saved me, so now it's my time to save you, I'll be right here when you need me ok " his right hand came to the side of face and gently caress my cheek, then he leaned down and kiss me.

This man is not the same boy I saved all those years ago, he's mature, gentle and cold hearted at the same time, he's a man. Soon this will be my man, and I will do everything to protect him, we pulled away and that when I really took him features. His black hair, his blue eyes, his pale skin, his large muscular body, its like god took his time and sculpt this man. "like what you see princess" he smirked "in fact yes I do, and I'm going to make sure everyone knows your mine" I said slyly and he chuckled. "go get some rest, we have school tomorrow" I waved him off and got into bed. Gosh what a day, my eyes started closing and that when I finally realized I'm actually getting to sleep peacefully after a very long time.
