Chapter eight: offical?

“Hey, Jen.” Danny walked up to me and I close my locker.

“Hey Dan, what up?” dan started to open his locker. I lean against my locker. Danny grabbed his math textbook.

“So how was your birthday date with joey? Sorry, I was busy with dates with other girls. I find messing around fun.” I just rolled my eyes.

“Henry and Greg forgot you hooked?” I questioned as Danny closed his locker. We started to walk to class.

“Yup, I feel like being in relationships is just stupid now.” Danny combed his hair back with his hand. I scoffed and just hit Danny's arm. He Chucked as we made it to class.

“I’m just glad you have other friends than me. So any girl you have in mind?” I asked. Danny opened the door and held it open for me as I walk in first.

“You still going to be my number one Jen, you know that right?” Danny put his arm around my shoulder and I patted his hand. “Where’s joey by the way?” Danny asked as we made it to our seats.

“Oh, he’s sick from Saturday. We decided to go on a date and it was raining surprisingly in LA for once. He gave me the umbrella for me and he made himself wet. He said it was bound to happen.” I sat down on my seat with my bag on my lap.

“So he predicted this? Did he text you about him being sick? I mean you called me out of nowhere saying to pick you up.” Danny sat down and put his bag next to him.

“Yup, he called me actually to get ready and said he regrets but not to regret what he did.”I lean back on my chair. Danny shook his head.

“To be honest I would do the same thing but at the same time, I would wear a hoodie just in case it rains. Actually, I would check the weather first before I head out.” Danny pulled out his phone and started to text a girl.

“Tell that to joey next time.” just then I got a text. I look to see a text from Joey.

“Can you bring your mom’s chicken noodle soup after school. She said she’ll cook it and when you get home just put some in a glass container. Also, expect to get sick too.” I just rolled my eyes. I replied.

“Okay, so no kissing and touching then, promise?” I know joey probably groaned. I smiled to myself. Danny noticed of course.

“Texting joey? Is he being flirty?” Danny looked back at his phone. I shook my head.

“No, I just told him that I not kissing him nor he cannot touch me.” I look to see a text from Joey.

“Why babe, no fair.” I just rolled my eyes.

“Deal with it.” I locked my phone As the teacher walked in.

(joey’s perspective)

“Hey honey.” my mom walked in my room and I just turned to look at my mom holding a cup of tea.

“Hey, mom. I looked at my phone and saw it was 8:10. Class probably started.

“Here drink this, Jen's mom is making the soup right now and she brings some soon for your breakfast.” my mom put the tea on my nightstand next to my phone.

“Thanks, mom.” I looked at my mom with a smile and she gave me a smile back. She sat next t me and put her hand on my forehead.

“So how did this happen? How did you get sick?’ my mom asked. I just sighed.

“I was being a gentleman and I let Jen have the umbrella during our date yesterday. I got wet and yeah.” I said, and my mom looked surprised. She nodded as she giggled.

“Did you check the weather beforehand?” my mom moved some of my hair out the way of my sweaty forehead.

“Why do you think I brought an umbrella? I just didn't wear a hoodie or a jacket hoodie.” I turned to my side and my mom sighed.

“Next time remember to wear a jacket hoodie. Also, I have a quick question.” my mom patted my arm and I looked at my mom. “Don't think we're stupid, are you and Jeannie dating? Me and your father know that you threw a birthday date for her.” I just froze. I wanted to seem like me and Jen are friends but not like that.

“No, but would you kind us dating? “ I asked. My mom looked away clearing her throat.

“That depends on her parents to honey. I sure there opinion care too. Talk to Jeannie about this and maybe I’ll talk to her parents about this.” my mom said getting up from my bed. I nodded. My mom walked out of my room. I started to think if I should make it official. Jen is a nice girl and plus I like being around her. I got up from my bed slowly picking up the tea on my nightstand. I sipped it. f**k I hate tea but I am sick at the moment. I took a few more sips and put it back on the nightstand. I laid back down thinking. Maybe I should make it official. She is pretty good in bed now that I been teaching her a few things, plus her smile always makes my day better just bu=y making her laugh or making her smile. I have a lot to talk about with her. I sighed as I heard the doorbell ring. That probably my chicken noodle soup. Now I have to wait till Jen gets here. I need my sleep anyways.

I woke up to sounds coming from beside me. I turned to my side to see Jen on her phone playing a youtube video n a low volume. I just chucked and hugged her by her wasit putting my head n her lap. She looked surprised but she giggled and moved some of my hair on my forehead.

“Sorry did I wake you up?” I just shook my head and closed my eyes taking in her warmth.

“No, I woke up myself but I mean I glad your here babe.” I pulled her closer to me. She leans down to kiss my head.

“How are you feeling?” Jen asked and I just sighed. I removed my arms around to her to just lay on her lap I faced up and saw Jen looking down at me. She fixed my blanket to put it over my half naked body. I was still wearing basketball shorts.

“Not as bad as this morning but I still feel weak as f**k. Can I get a real kiss?” I asked and Jen rolled her eyes.

“No joey, get up. I’ll heat up your soup real quick so you can eat and maybe we can watch a movie on your laptop.” Jen moved my head off her lap and got off my ned connecting her phone to the charger. I groaned and fixing myself back in my bed. I grabbed my phone as Jen walked out of my room with a glass container of chicken noodle soup. I unlocked my phone to see a text from my a random number.

“Hey, joey long time to see.” I was confused.i just blocked the number knowing it a girl texting me. I saw a text from my boys including Danny.

Henry: “your such a gentlemen.”

Greg: “why did you you share?”

Danny: “leave him alone.” I groaned and replied to all of them.

“She mines, thanks Danny for standing up for me. Did she tell you personally?” I got a reply from Harry first before the Greg.

“Danny is her childhood friend. She tells him everything.”

“What else did she tell you?” I replied.

“She doesn't want me to touch her nor kiss her. Also, I have to ask you guys something. Group call please?” they all replied.

“Got it”

“Ready.”

“First time but okay.” I went to call all of them as I added them in a group call.

“Hey, Joey! What do you want to ask?” Henry asked

“About Jen of course..” Greg said in a sarcastic tone.

“What up?” Danny said. I looked at my door to not hear Jen walking up the stairs.

“So I was thinking maybe I make it official with Jen. What your opinion dan?” it was silent for a good minute and Danny spoke first.

“Are you sure joey? She different and has feelings. You are really close to her.” Henry was next and then Greg.

“Bro, this is the first.”

“Did you think about this all day?” I just sighed.

“Of course I did. So should I make it official?” I asked again. Greg spoke first. then Henry and Danny spoke after.

“You should if you think you're ready.”

“Just make sure you don't attack her when she says yes.” I rolled my eyes as I comb my hair back with my hand.

“I can agree with that.” I sighed. I hate these guys.

“Okay, I’ll talk to her after I’m done eating and watching a movie.” Danny said something. I can tell Henry and Greg just nodded k owing them.

“Know she had feelings.” I cleared my throat as I heard footsteps.

“Talk to you guys later.” I hung up as Jen entered the room with a tray with a bowl and a spoon. She had pills and a cup of water too.

“sorry, did know how to work your microwave.” she sat beside me at my bed and put the tray on my lap as I got up. She took the pill and water from the tray and placed it on my nightstand. “You should put on a shirt big boy.” Jen went to the side as I started to eat and grabbed the shirt I was wearing last night. She handed to me and I just rolled my eyes. I put my spoon down and put on the shirt. Jen got off my bed grabbing my charged laptop. She sat next to me again. She opened my laptop and turned it on.

“So Jen can we talk?” I said putting the spoon down on the tray. Jen looked at me and she points to my laptop. I need to log in. I sighed and log in.

“What up?” Jen looked up at me. I put a smile on my face.

“What would you say if I asked you to be my girlfriend?” I said as I put on google chrome. Jen looked surprised.

“What?” Jen just froze. I chuckled and put my arm around her waist.

“I’m serious Jen, I been thinking about it all day since my mom did mention that we been to close lately.” I look down at Jen that was still shocked.

“Wait what? So..are you serious? “ Jen was confused but I can tell she was thinking about it.

“I’m serious babe, I want you and only you. I never touched or talked to any other girl then you for the last month. Just think about babe.” Jen sighed and looked down thinking about it. I put on Netflix as Jen was thinking.

“I mean what if our parents find out?” Jen looked at me worried. I just chucked and pulled Jen close.

“Weren't you listen to me. My mom mentioned to me that she knows were more then friends and she asked me if we were dating. I thought about it and maybe we should start dating. She said that she’ll talk to your parents about this. She wanted me to talk to you about it first.” Jen nodded.

“So your parents as coo with us dating?” Jen question looking up at me. I just smiled.

“Yes, she is. So your answer?” I look back down at Jen. She smiled and leaned against my chest.

“I don't mind dating you but I don't think s*x is a good idea right now.” I just scoffed and kiss Jen head.

“Same with kissing since you don't want to get sick. Do you get sick easily?” I asked and Jen nodded. Makes sense.

“Fine but when I feel better you owe me a good time.” I kissed Jen's head again and she giggled as she wen to my laptop and started to pick out a movie. I went back to eating my warm soup. I held Jen close to me. Now this means I have to be more protective f her. I wonder what the boys will say after I told them what happened.

(Jen's perspective)

Hey, Danny.” I jumped on Danny and he carried me like a piggyback ride.

“Hey Jen, why so happy?” Danny started to walk to our first class.

“So me and joey are official. He confessed to me yesterday.” Danny looked at me shocked but he chuckled.

“Finally, you guys are always together. I am going to be hella protective now.” Danny pushed me more up and I just groaned.

“I’ll remind joey of that.” I said. Danny put me down as we reached our class.we both walked in as Danny held the door open. I walked in.

“Where joey? Still sick?” Danny closes the door and we walked to our seats. I was about to say something but then I felt a arm coming from behind me and I looked up to see Joey looking at Danny.

“right here, why didn’t you wait for me babe?” Joey looked down at me. Danny shook his head and sat down at his seat. I put my bag down on my seat as I turned to face Joey. Joey hugged me by my shoulder holding me close to him.

“My mom told me your still sick so she drops me off.” I said nd joey looked surprised.

“I’m fine a hundred percent.” joey lean don and gave me a simple kiss. I giggled.

“So you guys are official? Danny said put loud and I saw eye’s on us. Joey rolled his eyes and I just got out his grip. I sat down at my seat. Joey sat next to me grabbing my hand.

“u=es we are. I’m happy were official.” joey kissed my hand. Danny rolled his eyes. I just giggled as there were a few girls behind Joey. joey notice them and got up sitting on my desk. I put my bag on my lap.

“So you have a girlfriend. I thought you weren't into relationships.” said one of the girls pissed off. Joey looked at me and he shook his head.

“That was last year. This year is different.” Joey said looking at the girl.

“So you stopped playing around with us for her. What so different about her?” said another girl pissed off. I scoffed and I left the explaining to joey.

“She cares for me and she changed me. I like her personally and plus she good in bed.” joey winked at me. I shook my head.

“She’s not the type to f**k around joey, you gave her her first time and now she a hoe?” said another girl. Joey looked pissed.

“Just leave us alone you girl and don't call her a hoe. You girls are hoes.” Joey said and the girls looked shocked. Everyone in this class looked shocked.

“You’ll regret this.” said one of the gross and they all walked away. Everyone started to talk acting as nothing happened. I looked at Joey sighed. He looks down at me.

“Sorry for that babe.” Joey said and I just lean forward looking up at Joey.

“That I have to get used too.” I put a smile on my face. Joey did the same.

“For sure.” Danny groaned put of nowhere.

“Is this how you felt with me and val?” Danny asked and I looked his way. Joey shook his head.

“Now you know.” I said looking at Danny with a smirk on my face. Danny rolled his eyes as he pulled out his phone.

Lunchtime came around and I was at me and Danny's locker. This time we decided not to go the cafeteria.

“So words got out you guys are dating. When did this happen?” harry ask as I was laying my head on Joey's shoulder. Joey looked down at me and I just sighed looking at my phone.

“Yeah, it true. We started yesterday and one thing for sure not every girl is happy.” Joey put his arm around my waist. I nuzzled near joey chest.

“Of course Joey, so brit approached you first?” Greg said looking at Joey. joey pulled me closer to him as girls walk by us. They glared at me.

“One of her friends call my baby a hoe. I ‘m not going to let that pass.” joey kissed my head. Danny chuckled.

“You should off seen her face. She was mad but I mean she was a b***h anyways. She good in bed but has a horrible personality.” Danny said laying his head on his bag on the ground.

“Wait that right you f****d her before? Is she that good?” Henry said and i just rolled my eyes. Joey chuckled as he leans his head against mines.

“When?” Greg looked shocked and he just looked Danny. Danny got up and fixed his hair by combing it with his hand.

“I think during the party last Saturday.” Danny sat up strut and Greg started to think.

“We’re always together dan. How did I not see you with brint.” Greg Said looking up thinking. Henry scoffed and shook his head.

“Are you sure about that? I sure were together for a good five minutes until we find girls or girls come to us.” Henry Said looking at Greg. Greg sighed.

“Maybe yeah. I just have a bad memory.” Greg looked at his phone.

“Did you guys want this to happen? You know me and Jen getting together?” Joey questioned and all of them looked at us.

“How about a yes ever since you guys had s*x but I thought it was bound to happen after her birthday date for sure.” Henry Said on his phone.

“That great that you guys are together but who made the move?” Greg Asked looking at us.

“Joey, he was still sick but he asked and I mean knew one of us would say it first.” I Said closing my eyes and relaxing in Joey's arms.

“Who knew the man would say it first but I could also say Joey was falling for you really fast. You were talking your time.” Danny Said and Joey looked at me confused.

“Really now?” I just giggled and patted on Joey's chest.

“I have to agree with Danny Here. You made the first move after all.” I Said looking up at Joey. Joey sighed as Henry and Greg looked at each other with a smirk on there faces. Danny just rolled his eye laying back down.

“I did make the first move did I?” Joey leans in and gave me a simple kiss. I smiled in the kiss.

“You sure did.” I nuzzled against joey’s chest. Joey chuckled as he talked to the boys about us.
