Chapter 6

I felt something stroking my cheek like a feather. I turned and snuggled into the warmth and again it started, I slowly opened my eyes to see it was ash’s hand that was tenderly stroking me. I looked into his eyes to see he was looking at me with a smile and love in his eyes.

I smiled back shyly and his hand cupped my cheek and slowly placed a tender kiss on my forehead, I felt like a princess. He moved back and said, “good morning angel. How did you sleep?" , I replied “good morning ashy, I slept very well. One of the best sleep in years."

He smiled and asked, “Would you like to see my parents now angel? It’s your choice if you want it, it’s just that they are very eager to meet you”

I started to feel nervous again but I didn't feel scared because I had ashy with me and it was his parents we are talking about, they raised a wonderful son so I am sure they are not so bad .

With this in mind I told “I would love to meet them”. He became so excited that he showered my face with small kisses. I laughed because it was so cute, I loved to make him happy and I would do anything for him.

He took out a cell phone, I think I saw my dad using it once. He pressed some buttons and started talking to his parents I assume because I heard the words mom and dad and then in less than a minute he cut the phone and looked at me with that knee wrenching smile.

I smiled back and asked , "when are they coming?"

he replied “In an hour"

Oh Goddess!! Is he crazy or what?! I realized I didn't have anything to wear as well. I looked into the mirror to see myself, my hair was a mess and my clothes made me look like I was a homeless hobo, which is technically true except the hobo part I frowned and looked at ash.

"What were you thinking? I can’t get ready in an hour. I don’t have decent clothes, my hair is a birds nest and why didn’t you tell me I look like this Oh god! What was I thinking I can't just tell them I don’t have clothes and I am homeless" I was panicking and rambling.

Suddenly I felt warm lips on mine which spread shocks throughout my system and slowly nothing else mattered after a few minutes I calmed down and he pulled back and looked at me through those vibrant green eyes.

"Angel you look beautiful just the way you are and if you want some clothes I can ask my beta to get his mates clothes and why are you saying that you are homeless? You are my mate you live with me now and forever get that through that brain" he said all the while looking into my eyes so that I knew he meant everything he said.

I slowly nodded. He smiled and suddenly his eyes got a glazed look in them, in a few seconds they returned back to normal. I was so confused so I asked, “What did you just do which made your eyes glazy?"

"Oh I was mind-linking my beta for the clothes. Us werewolves can talk to our pack members through our minds, even mates can do that and they will have their privacy, no one else can read our thoughts or talk in them while talking to our mates. We can do that when I mark you which consists of biting here on the sensitive area of your neck" he said while kissing it, I shivered .

I read about this stuff in books, just because I didn't go to school doesn't mean I stopped reading. My father had his books from school and college so I learnt everything there was about our kind thank god for those otherwise I probably would have freaked out about everything by now. But I never actually saw these things happening so it was all kind of new to me.

I think he understood, so he said, “Don’t worry angel I will teach you about everything and anything you want to know”, this is what I loved about him, well one of the reasons anyways, he always knows what to say and how to comfort me.

Just then someone knocked the door, I instantly got scared. I trusted ashy but I was not comfortable with anyone else. He looked at me and said ,"Don't worry angel it’s just my beta I would never let anyone I think was a threat to come near you".

I relaxed a bit and slightly nodded so he smiled at me and went to the door took the clothes told the person on the other side who I think is the beta said thank you and whispered something I couldn't hear and then closed the door.

He came to me and handed me the clothes I nodded in thanks and went to the bathroom and changed my clothes .

After I finished I went downstairs all the while getting more and more nervous. I heard the door bell ring just as I came into the hall . I saw ash go and open the door and in walked in the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen she had blonde hair and green eyes and a ecstatic smile, I could see ashy got her eyes .

I was so in awe of her beauty that I didn't notice the person beside her until they were almost standing in front of me I looked at the tall and well built guy who had black hair like ash with a soft smile on his face.

I instantly panicked on seeing how big he was and how easily he could hurt me, I started moving back until I tripped I was waiting for the impact but it never came. I opened my eyes to see it was ash.

I was too scared to even notice that he had been coming towards me. He hugged me instantly to calm me down and it worked. I wrapped my hands around his neck and hugged back.

He was whispering soothing words and rubbed my back I think he understood what happened.After a while I completely calmed down he asked if I was ok I just nodded my head in his chest.

"Its ok angel they won’t hurt you I promise, so can you please turn around and see them?" he asked, so I slowly turned around and looked into their eyes. I was so embarrassed I made such a bad impression, I expected to see disgust or repulsion or anything along that on their faces but the only expression I saw was concern. I felt like an i***t for reacting that way but I couldn't help it .

His mom smiled and said, “Are you ok honey? We are really sorry if we did anything to scare you, but trust me when I say that we would never hurt our son's mate and our future Luna you can trust us darling" her words were very comforting and she reminded me so much of my mother which helped a lot.

Her husband nodded in agreement with a bright smile on his face with concern still present, wait ‘Luna’? Oh! How could I forget that I will have to talk to ash about all this another time.

"I am very sorry, I didn't mean any of this to happen and believe me when I say you didn't do anything wrong. I was just reminded of something" I apologized feeling guilty.

"Hey it’s ok angel they will understand would you like to tell them or are you not comfortable with them yet, either way is fine" my sweet mate whispered in my ear all the while holding me.

I just nodded my head because they were his parents and they deserved to know. I didn't think I could do it again so asked him to tell it for me. He just kissed my forehead and said, “anything for my angel”.

We all went into the living room and sat in the sofas except me who sat on ash's lap. I didn't care what they thought because I needed the comfort. I hugged him tightly he hugged back and slowly started narrating my life to his parents.

I hoped to the moon goddess they would take it well because it’s too late for my ashy to leave me. I would die without him.
