The Alpha's Abused Mate

Chapter 4

I woke up with my stomach growling more like roaring for hunger, I slowly opened my eyes only to come face to face with my handsome mate, he was still snoring slightly. His eyes were closed and lips were parted, he looked so adorable I wanted to coo over him, just then I remembered my hunger.

His arm was across waist, I gently tried to move it but he only tightened it . I sighed I had no choice but to wake him up. "Ashton get up " I said shaking him, he only groaned and mumbled something like 5 more minutes.

I shook him again and tried to tell him "Ashton please I am very hungry" , that was enough to wake him up. His eyes shot open and widened "Oh moon goddess !! I am so sorry Angel.I forgot to feed you, I am such a bad mate I am so sorry " he said and immediately picked me up bridal style and took me downstairs.

"Hey its ok don't say that you are the best mate in the world " I said and smiled at him. He looked down at me and grinned widely and kissed me on my forehead I felt so safe and cherished. He sat me down on the counter and took some stuff out if the fridge

"What are you doing? " I asked curiously swinging my feet happily, "You said that you wanted pizza so I am making it" he said smiling and turned to do whatever it was he was doing. I felt so touched that he remembered, it may not be much for many people but after going through so much in my life I am grateful to have at least one person who cared about what I wanted.

After a few minutes of comfortable silence he came to me with a yummy looking round thing which I vaguely remember how pizza looked like. He placed it beside me "Come on eat it, its a vegetable and cheese pizza, tell me if you don't like it though I can make you something else " he said nervously while cutting it, he took a piece and brought it near my mouth I happily opened my mouth and took a bite. I instantly moaned with delight it was the most tastiest thing I ever ate, I opened my eyes to see him staring at me instantly with black lust filled eyes. I blushed bright red and that seemed to snap him out of his trance .

He shook his head and cleared his throat "So I take it that you like it " he teased smiling cheekily ,I nodded my head eagerly making him chuckle " This is the best thing I have ever eaten " I said.

"Well I am glad Angel, come on eat up I know you are hungry " he said as he bought the slice to my mouth again. He fed me three big slices after which I refused to eat more and he started eating the rest.

I giggle seeing him stuffing his face with food with cheeks full like a chipmunk, he looked up and asked "whaw?" He asked with mouthful. I giggled again at his attempt to say what and said, " it's just that you look so cute with your cheeks full like a chipmunk".

He gave me a toothy grin that could melt anyone and continued eating, I just took the time to stare at his handsome face. I didn't even realize I was staring until I heard a cough, I looked into his eyes and he was looking at me with amusement. I instantly blushed again and looked away.

Seeing that I was caught he lifted my chin and kissed my cheek tenderly , and then leaned back and smiled at me softly " it's ok Angel you can look all you want I am yours just like you are mine " he said lovingly while holding my hand.

" I love you " I whispered looking at him his smile turned into full blown toothy grin " I love you too Angel so much that you will never know.

"Angel would you like to meet my parents?" He asked, I was happy that he wanted me to meet them but at the same time scared of meeting new people and what if they didn't like me?

He sensed my nerves and said, "Angel there is no need to be scared or nervous they are good people I would never let anyone near you if I thought they could hurt you and I guarantee that they will love you ok?"

"Ok I'll meet them" I replied trusting him. He pulled me into a hug and lifted me so that I wrapped my legs around his waist, he carried us to our room, ‘our’ it sounds so strange but feels so right.

We went on the bed and I cuddled into his warmth, "Let's rest Angel you are still recovering goodnight angel I love you " he said and kissed my head snuggling into my neck.

"Good night ashy I love you too " I mumbled drifting off to sleep, I felt him smile at my neck and kiss me near my collar bone lovingly and for the first time I didn't have a nightmare I had the best sleep in my life.
