Coco's POV As I turned to see who it was, I was surprised to find Tito standing beside me. The bullies seemed to back off as soon as they saw him, as if they knew better than to mess with him. "Is there a problem here?" Tito asked, his voice laced with a hint of danger. The bullies mumbled some excuses and quickly walked away, leaving me alone with Tito. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking down at me with concern. I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I couldn't believe that Tito had just stood up for me like that. I felt safe in his presence, as if nothing could harm me. "Thank you," I said, looking up at him with gratitude. Tito gave me a small smile and walked me to my next class, making sure that I was safe and secure. From that day on, Tito, Buzor, Gson, and Remy became my closest friends. They welcomed me into their group and showed me a side of life that I had never experienced before. We went on adventures, explored the city, and shared our deepest secrets and fears. I couldn't help but feel grateful for their presence in my life. They had changed everything for me, and I knew that I would never be the same again. As I looked back on that first day when I had noticed them, I realized that they had brought a sense of excitement and mystery to my otherwise mundane life. They had shown me that there was more to life than just surviving, that there was a world of endless possibilities waiting for me to explore. And I knew that as long as I had them by my side, I could face any challenge that came my way. They were more than just friends, they were my family, and I knew that our bond would never be broken. I looked up from my desk to see Tito, one of the new students, standing next to me with a determined look on his face. My heart skipped a beat, wondering what he wanted from me. Then he spoke, and I was taken aback by the words that came out of his mouth. "Leave her alone," he said firmly to the bullies who had been harassing me. The bullies sneered at him, clearly unimpressed by his words. "What's it to you?" one of them spat out. Tito didn't back down, though. "She's my friend," he said, making eye contact with each of them. "And I won't stand by and watch her be treated this way." To my surprise, Buzor, another new student, stepped forward to back up Tito. "We all feel the same way," he said, his voice low and threatening. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why were they standing up for me? They were new students, barely knew me, and yet they were defending me against the bullies. As the bullies backed off, I looked up at Tito and Buzor, feeling grateful for their support. "Thank you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. They both smiled at me, and I felt a warmth spread through my body. It had been so long since I had felt any kindness or compassion from anyone at school. Maybe these new students weren't so bad after all. As we walked to our next class together, I noticed that other students were staring at us, but this time, it wasn't with hatred or disgust. It was with curiosity. "They don't like it when anyone messes with their new toy," a voice sneered from behind us. I turned around to see one of the bullies from earlier, flanked by his cronies. Tito stepped forward, his fists clenched. "Leave her alone," he growled, his voice low and threatening. The bully laughed. "Make me," he taunted, taking a step forward. Before I could even process what was happening, Tito had lunged forward, throwing a punch at the bully. It connected with his nose, causing blood to spurt out. The bully stumbled back, clutching his face in pain. His friends looked stunned for a moment before quickly retreating. I stared at Tito in shock. He had just fought someone for me. I didn't know what to say. Buzor clapped him on the back. "Nice one, man," he said, grinning. Tito shrugged, a small smile on his face. "I hate bullies," he said simply. As we walked into our next class, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude and admiration towards Tito and Buzor. They had stood up for me and defended me when no one else would. I knew that I had gained. Coco walked nervously through the crowded hallway, trying to blend in with the sea of students around her. She had just finished her last class of the day and was eager to get home and escape the constant scrutiny of her peers. She had never been popular or particularly outgoing, but recently things had taken a turn for the worse. A group of girls had taken it upon themselves to make her life a living hell, taunting her in class and the hallways, and making cruel comments about her appearance and social status. Coco didn't know how much more she could take. As she rounded the corner, she saw the group of girls she had been dreading. They were standing in a huddle, laughing and whispering, until they caught sight of her. The ringleader of the group, a tall and imposing girl with bleach blonde hair, sneered at Coco as she approached. "Well, well, well," she said, smirking. "If it isn't the loser squad. You really think having these guys with you is going to make a difference? You're still just a pathetic little worm, Coco." Coco felt a hot flush of embarrassment spread across her cheeks, but before she could say anything, Tito stepped forward. He was a new student who had transferred to their school a few weeks ago, but he had quickly become known for his kind heart and no-nonsense attitude. "Why don't you just leave her alone?" he said, his voice low and threatening. The girl scoffed. "And who are you, the new kid? You think you're better than us?" "I don't think I'm better than anyone," Tito replied evenly. "But I know that what you're doing is wrong. You have no right to treat Coco like this." "Back off, pretty boy," one of the girl's friends sneered, stepping up beside her. "This is none of your business."
