Leo Hayley looked up from his phone to the laptop on top the desk. An e-mail from the academy had popped up on his notification board.
Dear Mr Leo,
This is to inform you that the new session begins on the 20th of September...
Leo looked at the date on his phone and it read the 15th of September.
...five days from today. We hope to see you blah blah blah... remember to bring the necessary requirements blah blah blah yada yada yada.
And then Leo closed the e-mail. He turned to his friend Rex Spark who was playing on his PS.
"Rex school is about to resume", Leo stated.
" I know. I just received the mail", Rex answered without taking his eyes off his PS.
"Didn't you have a project to write?".
" Finished it a week after it was issued".
" Oh okay", Leo acknowledged and turned back to his phone.
Few minutes later Leo dropped his phone and leaned completely in his chair.
"I just remembered my department has excursions lined up this session".
Leo and Rex turned to look out the window at the same time. Leo's gray eyes shimmered as a manic smile appeared on his face.
" I have a good feeling there will be a lot of excitement this session ".
Rex shivered and said a silent prayer for whoever that excitement would be coming from.

All over the world the students of Luna Academy received the same e-mail about the school resumption.
This was met with different reactions. Mostly panic, anxiety, groans and some paranoia . Not everyone was like Leo who took school as a form of excitement.
Sally groaned as she remembered her pending project.
" I'll ask Rex for help. School hasn't even begun and it seems I'm starting the session with owing favours. Well anything for my grades".
Sally turned back to her game of chess and moved a chess piece.
"Checkmate dad".

IRIS POV
I'm sitting right here in front of my computer waiting for some e-mail. Every sound that comes out of the stupid computer sounds like its an e-mail. Dad gets tired of my anxiousness and tells me to take a walk around the block and that while I'm taking that walk maybe I could branch to the supermarket and get some things we might need.
I walk round the block twice for good measure and then I go to the supermarket. I bought some eggs... scratch that a lot of eggs , mostly because dad eats eggs as though he were drinking water.
I get home, rush to the computer and there's finally an e-mail addressed to me.
Dear Iris Blade,
You have been accepted as an archaeology student into this prestigious academy. Below you will find a file that will guide you through the procedures.
As we have deemed you worthy we hope you do not fail us.
LUNA ACADEMY
Short and precise. And kind of weird. It was as though I was getting a title .
Finally the mail came, if it hadn't I would have stayed a whole year before applying again. Because I applied only to Luna Academy.
