Aria's POV: "So, Dean, this is Aria. Aria, this is Dean. Dean's our deejay, and you guys could probably come up with some great ideas and shit......um, are you okay?" Elliot said. Looking up finally, I realized that I had zoned out. "Yeah, Im fine, sorry. Let's look at our shots from today" I said, blushing. Turning to the computer, Elliot and I went through all of our stills, but I could feel Dean's eyes on my back. I couldn't resist a couple of times and would turn my head, only to catch him gazing directly at me each time, even though I could hear the music blaring through his headphones. After an hour or so, I couldn't take it anymore. Dean's scent filled the room and made it hard to breathe. I felt like I was burning up, and it was getting harder to control Athena. She wanted Dean as bad as I did, and was whining and pacing furiously. "He's our mate, we need him" she whimpered. "I want him, lets go to him!" she howled. "Shut up, shut up!" I shot back. It was all too much. If I kept sitting here, I would jump on Dean at any second. "Hey Ell, Im gonna head out. I think Imma go for a quick run" I said. "Dean, it was nice to meet you. I'll catch up with you guys later."  I rushed out the door into the clean night air. Whew, I need to go! Anywhere but here. "He's our mate, go back NOW!" Athena shouted, but I was beyond hearing her. Ditching my car, I opted to head to the woods right behind our studio. I could feel eyes on me from the window, but I didn't care. I knew who was watching. I waited until I was out of sight from the studio, before I stripped naked, the cool night air rushing over my flushed skin. I hid my clothes behind a tree, and allowed myself to shift. My wolf was the same color as my hair, a rich, chocolate brown. My eyes were the same too, only brighter. Once I shifted, I allowed myself to run freely. I didn't stop until my legs were trembling, exhausted from the power of my stride. Looking around, I had to be a few miles out. Shaking my head, I sat down for a few minutes before I headed back. I could only hope that Dean was gone by the time I got back. Dean's POV: "Are you okay?" I heard Elliot say, and I snapped to attention. I didn't even realize that I had completely zoned out, focused on Aria and trying my best to ignore Jax's growls and whimpers. "Yeah, Im fine, sorry" I hear Aria say. Before I could zone out again, I opened my laptop, plugged in my headphones and went to work. Even with the headphones on full blast, I just couldn't focus on my music like normally. I couldn't even help it, my eyes kept getting drawn to Aria and the stills that they were browsing through on the computer. It was in full view, and I have to say, I'm impressed. The girl had serious talent; all the shots were amazing. I know she felt me watching; a couple of times, she glanced back at me, blushing a dark red under my gaze. Out of nowhere, she stiffened, stood, and picked up her jacket. "Hey Ell, I'm gonna head out.I think Imma go for a quick run. Dean, it was nice to meet you. I'll catch up with you guys later." "No! Go get her!" Jax roared. "No, let her come to us on her own. She seems uncomfortable" I said back. Standing to stretch my legs, I walked to the window, where I could just see her, heading towards the woods around back. "Strange", I thought, "why would a girl like her be going for a run in the woods at night?"  "Hey Ell, whats up with her?" I asked. Elliot laughed, and shook his head. "Don't even bother, man. She's my ex-girlfriend, today was her first day back in like two years." I had to hold a growl back from escaping. "What do you mean, ex-girlfriend? You never mentioned her, bro." "Well, not exactly ex-girlfriend" Elliot started. "We were talking, and she ended up using me to get with my best friend in front of me, and then blew up at me & stopped working." Even though I listened to him, It still didn't sit right with me. Jax and myself were getting more agitated by the minute. "Alright bro, I just wanted to know". "Well, if you're interested in her, I wouldn't recommend it, but whatever" Elliot said. That was it. Headphones back on, volume full blast again.  Now that she was gone, it was easier to focus on my music and drown everything else out. I got a couple of beats done, laid some vocals down on another. By the time I was done, a couple hours had passed, and Knew it was about time for me to head back home. "Alright Ell, Imma catch you later. We still on for that gig in a couple days?" "Yeah man, just be here around 7 to set up, and we'll be on." "Alright man, thanks. Catch you later." I packed my laptop up and headed out into the night air. It was cool out, with the moon shining bright. I could just catch the slightest drift of Aria's scent, just barely. Deciding against going into the woods, I got into my car and headed home, thinking of Aria the whole way there.
