[Austin’s POV] Later, I sit on Elizabeth’s bed while she cleans the almost healed cut on my cheek. So far, she hasn’t asked me what exactly happened earlier, but I’m sure that the question will come soon enough, especially when she finishes and sits back on her heels and her questioning gaze reaches me.
