[Abbie’s POV] I step out of Sun Publishing, Desmond close to my side. Above, the sun is already beginning to set and the city around us is coming to life. Trying to ignore the nervous energy that is beginning to build in me, I pull my phone out of my pocket and read the single text that is waiting for me. I’ll be waiting.
