Zadie's POV
When we walked back into the Alpha suite, the guys were deep in conversation. "I've already increased security at the border for tonight. Reggie is working on a schedule to double patrols for the foreseeable future until we figure out what's going on," I heard Donovan tell Rex. They still hadn't noticed us walk in.
I wonder what's going on. "Is everything okay?" I heard Skyler ask, taking the words right out of my mouth. They both turned and looked at us, finally realizing we were back. Rex stood, never taking his eyes off me.
"Just some security issues we are taking care of. Neither of you are to go off pack territory without an escort," Donovan said. Skyler didn't ask any other questions. Just took Donovan at his word, walking around the couch and sitting next to him.
