"Yes, I would be happy to assist you; but what do you require?" Princess Sabrina's brows were furrowed in concentration.
"First and foremost, please lock the door. I do not want everyone to be able to hear us. I understand that you might be uncomfortable with this, but please believe me, I don't have any ill intentions. Please help me in order for me to tell you everything." Dillion implored the princess to grant him a wish.
The princess was wary of him, but she decided to give him a chance to prove his honesty once and for all.
She stepped across the room and locked the door behind her.
"Speak up now! What assistance do you require?" Princess Sabrina's brows were furrowed in concentration.
"I am in desperate need of blood." Dillion was sitting with his head lowered.
"What?" When she heard that, the princess let out a gasp.
"As you can see, I am in terrible condition, and if I do not get any blood soon, I may not be able to stay here." Dillon's voice was quivering as he said.
Princess Serena walked over to him, "What kind of foolishness are you talking about? What is the reason for your need for blood?"
Dillion remained deafeningly quiet.
"Say something, Dillion!" He was ordered to do so by the princess.
He was still deafeningly quiet.
The princess grabbed his frozen face and forced him to face her, "Shhh... Why is your face so cold—"
After seeing his face, her eyes bulged and her mouth remained wide open, and she was unable to say anything further.
His eyes had lost their colour and became yellow, and he had tears in his eyes as well. He had his fangs protruding from his mouth.
After seeing his appearance, the princess immediately let go of his face. However, just as she was ready to walk away from him, the princess tripped over her gown and was about to fall but Dillion caught her by the waist.
A teardrop from his eyes landed on her cheek.
"Y—You are a v—vampire, aren't you?" she exclaimed, astonished.
"Yes, I am," he said as he let go of the princess and fell onto his knees.
Despite the fact that she was terrified of Dillion, the princess wanted to console him.
"I should not have been here in the first place. Please accept my apologies!" Then he broke down sobbing, "I can not walk outside in the sunlight, but I did it knowing that it may harm me. However, I did it because I want to stay here, stay with you, your highness." He was so weak that he could not even keep sitting on his knees; he had to rely on his hands to keep himself upright.
Princess Sabrina was taken aback when she realised that what she had read was not a myth, but rather the fact. Vampires were genuine and real creatures that existed in her world.
"Vampires can't die, so you are not going to die, are you?" Princess said this with a cool demeanour.
"Yes you are right, but I shall lose my powers, and eventually, I will no longer be an immortal anymore." Dillion said it in a soft voice.
The princess could not help but consider how she could assist him. She was well aware that she could not tell anyone else about Dillion, therefore she had to feed him with blood in secret.
Princess Sabrina walked toward him, where he was already on his knees, and she bent down on her knees in front of him, "Drink my blood then!"
Dillion's head popped up at her, bulging red swollen eyes staring back at her.
"I am sorry, your highness?" He was sceptical that he had overheard anything.
"You heard me right, if you need blood, you can drink some of mine," Princess Sabrina repeated again.
"Do you have any idea how much it will hurt, Your Highness?" He looked at her with his eyes narrowed.
"I do not, but please be gentle and don't bite me to death. I don't want to die now." she stated, "Now hurry up, or I will have to change my mind."
"Alright, your highness." He was on the verge of hugging her and drinking her blood, when princess Sabrina stopped him.
"Wait, there is one condition I need to meet before I offer my blood to you. After I let you drink my blood, do you commit to being completely honest with me about your past, background, origins, and motives in this palace ?" The princess was witty in putting such a condition between them.
"Please keep my identity a secret from anybody else, then I vow to tell you anything and everything I know about myself." Dillion agreed to her conditions.
"You must honour your pledge since it is part of our deal." Princess Sabrina said as she raised and opened her arms for him, "now have my blood."
"Thank you very much your highness," Dillion said as he took the princess in his arms. He pulled her hair to his left side and tugged her sleeve down revealing her shoulder skin. With his fangs he bit on princess Sabrina's neck making her whimper.
The pain in her neck caused her to quiver as she clutched his shirt tighter around his waist. She experienced both ecstasy and pain at the same time.
Despite the fact that Dillon's body was cold, she could feel the warmth that his body was emitting from within. He was draining her blood, yet she felt as though she could continue to give blood indefinitely.
Suddenly, Dillon yanked away from her, and blood began to trickle down her neck. Before turning to face the princess, he tasted and licked the surplus blood that had oozed out of her wound.
"Thank you, Your Highness, for your assistance during this difficult time. You must take some time to rest." Dillion provided guidance.
"I can see that you're looking healthier now, and your eyes have regained their original fire colour, but I've run out of energy. Could you put me to bed?" The princess flashed a grin.
