DAMON woke up to the sun shining in his face. Groaning, he turned to roll over only to look down and see Carter fast asleep on his chest. He paused not wanting to wake her before smiling down at the huntress, Relaxing back into her bed, he slowly wrapped his arms around her and set his chin on her head.
The vampire led there staring up at the ceiling quietly as he smiled and listened to the soft breathing of the girt lying on top of him, Eventually, Carter groaned and rolled over in her sleep causing her to fall off him and into one of her pillows.
Chuckling, he pulled the covers up around her so she wasn't cold. However, he didn't
make any move to get up or leave. Damon was perfectly content just lying there beside her as she slept peacefully:
