Carter was sitting in a chair outside of Ric's cell in the basement of the Salvatore boarding house when Elena walked down the stairs into the room with a bag.
"Good morning, Carter." She greeted the huntress then approached the door of the
cell and peered through the barred door window. "Alaric?"
"Yep. Still me." He answered dully as he sat on the cot. 5o, Elena unlocked the door and entered the cell. "You know, you shouldn't be in here. It defeats the point of the i
whole being locked in a cellar thing." Carter chuckled and scrolled on her phone while the doppelganger dropped the bag
on the ground. "Well, you still need the basics. Toothbrush, clothes, some boring
books to help you sleep."
He picked up one of the books and raised an eyebrow before handing it to Elena. "Dr.
