Cassandra went back to their room and saw Misty was already there. She looked at her while rolling her eyes and giving her an evil grin before she sat down on her chair.
“No one can mess with me. I am Cassandra Dela Cruz, the b***h, stubborn, and rich girl of section 1."
Cassandra was walking in the hallways when she saw Misty again. She was crossing her arms while looking at her. "What are you doing?" she asked her, but Misty smiled at her.
"I just want to teach you a lesson," she said to her, and Cassandra laughed at her. She then glared at her while gritting her teeth. "Are you going to punched me here, then?"
"No. I didn't want to hurt someone else, Cass. You see, Clark is just playing with your feelings. Can't you see that? He had been playing along with you because he pity you for following him over and where he was going all the time," she said to her.
Cassandra was glaring at her. She wanted to punched and kicked her so badly, but when she saw Clark was there, she just smiled at her, and then voluntarily made herself fall. "What are you doing?" Misty asked her, but she smirked at her when she raised her head and then looked down when she saw Clark was going to their direction.
"What have you done, Misty? Why did you push her?" Clark asked her, and then Misty scoffed in disbelief while looking at Cassandra. "I didn't push her. She made her-"
"You know what. Stop it," Clark said, and then faced Cassandra and helped her out to stand.
"Are you okay?" he asked her, and Cassy nodded her head and smirked at Misty secretly. They started to walked away from Misty, and Cassy was smiling. "You don't have to do this, Clark. I can handle this," she said to him, but he shook his head.
"No. I need to assist you," he uttered. Cassandra then nodded her head and let Clark helped her out towards her car. "You can drive, don't you?" she nodded her head while looking at him. "Thank you for helping me back there," he nodded his head and waved his hands at her when she started the engine, and drive.
Cassandra was smiling all along while she was driving towards her house. She then went inside when she arrived. As always, the house was quiet because her parents wasn't there. She then looked around and sighed in disbelief. "Is the house had been so always quiet like this?" she asked as her eyes roamed around the place.
"Ms. Cassy? Your mom just called, and she wanted to tell you that-"
"I'm tired. I just want to rest," she cut her off and went towards her room, upstairs.
Cassy then locked the door and tossed herself on the bed. She sighed and closed her eyes, "I don't want to be in pain right now. I am hurting all alone, and I wanted to escape on this pain. Please... Let me escape and forget about everything. I-I just d-don't want to be in pain anymore. It's slowly killing me inside," she said as tears started to welled up her eyes.
Cassy wanted her parents full attention, but she always failed to get it from them. She just wanted a parents to be with her always at home, and went to her school whenever there's a meeting. She wanted them to see her achievements and hard works. Cassy was doing all her best to make them noticed her, but she failed.
That's why Cassy just chooses to be a bad student than to be a good one, in order for her Mom and Dad to noticed. She was hoping that one day, her parents will come and show up to her. She then fell asleep after minutes of thinking about it, deeply.
The following morning, Cassy didn't get up from her bed. "Cassy! Cassy!" she heard that sound outside her room, and then she took a pillow and covered her ears. "It's too early. Why is she being loud again," she was pissed as she got up and opened the door.
"What is it?" she asked her, calmly and tired.
"What happened to your eyes? You seemed tired and didn't sleep properly," she said to her, but Cassy looked away.
"My health isn't your problem and it's also not your business," she said to her.
"Cassy, I am always her for you. You can talk to me whenever you wanted to," she said to her, but she shook her head.
"I don't need anyone. Can't you see? I am fine being alone! I am fine without any parents! I am fine!" she raged at her, even though she thinks that she crossed the line.
"Cassy-"
"I don't want to hear it. Please leave now," she said to her, and gently pushes her away from her room and locked the door afterwards.
Cassy then leaned her back on the door and sighed. She then leaned her head on her knees and tears started to flow from her eyes. "Mom... I am hurt. Dad, I need you," she uttered in a low tone, enough for Manang Belinda to hear it.
She knew that Cassy was having a hard time, and wanted to have her parent's attention. She also noticed Cassy being a rebelled to her and at the school. She also know it from Lizzy, Cassy's friend. She always calls her parents to make them sure that Cassy is doing well, and fine.
Cassy continue to teared up inside her room as she thought of her parents. She just wanted a simple life with them, but why is it hard for them to give it to her? She sniffled, "Why? Why, I can't have a simple and normal life just like others have? Why!" she raged and tears split over her eyes.
"I just don't want to live anymore. I had lived in pain for my whole life, and it's suffocating. I wanted to give up."
To be continued...
