“Want to dance?” Brandon jumped at the unexpected intrusion. He’d just stepped through a side door of the ballroom that led to a small storage room, looking for a brief respite from the throng of partyers currently drinking and dancing and making catcalls in the room. As an introvert, he hated most parties anyway, and ones where he had to make sure everything was perfect most of all.
