Tim took a bite of one of the warm chocolate croissants Brandon had fetched for them Sunday morning from a bakery just down the street. Apparently, he had managed to sneak out of bed, get dressed, and leave without Tim ever waking up. Impressive because Tim had been sure he was a light sleeper. “This is truly sinful,” he told Brandon around another large bite. He reached for his coffee mug. “Told you.” Brandon smiled. The man managed to look f*****g hot with bed hair and wearing holey sweatpants and a threadbare, lemon-yellow T-shirt. Not fair, Tim thought. “You were definitely right.” They were sitting on the patio of Brandon’s backyard. It was a perfect sunny Sunday morning.
