The horseback riding had been more fun than Tim had expected, mostly because Ashtyn and Lance had him in stitches with their stories and banter.
But the truth was he would have liked it more if Brandon had been with them. He knew that hadn’t been possible. Brandon was an employee at the resort, not there for the reunion and certainly not there to entertain Tim.
When they returned, they all changed into their bathing suits and headed for the pool. The reunion committee would be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs as well as serving beer and margaritas.
