Chapter FourStrange sensations swirled in Annabelle's belly. Guilt burned in a fiery hot ribbon. Guilt that, after paying for a night in a hotel room, Gavin now sat across from her at a small round table, prepared to pay for her breakfast as well. She'd declined his offer, but he insisted.
