I wasn't lying when I told the doctor I'll tell her husband.
I never intended to keep the fact that Caroline is alive and with me from him. Because with the power and connection of the Elites Circle, it's only a matter of time before he finds out.
So no.
I don't intend to hide this from him.
However... that doesn't mean I can't use an unconventional method to get what I want.
Is that selfish? Probably.
Am I doing this partly because I don't want Jason to have her? Maybe.
But mostly—mostly I just want a second chance. A do-over where we can start over on a clean slate without the memories my cheating and our divorce getting in the way.
