Caroline fell in the water, and all Jason did was get the Coastal Guards and the police on the job.
But when his daughter went missing, he activated a full search protocol. So in his heart, Caroline is nothing compared to his daughter.
"I'm sorry. I'm caught up in something else right now. I can't take part in this charge."
"This is priority one, Samuel. The Heir's daughter is missing. Nothing else matters right now."
"Well the heir isn't the only one with a missing family member."
The words surprise me as much as they probably surprise Victor.
"Missing family member?" he asks. "Is a member of your family missing too?"
Well...Caroline was my wife once. So she can be considered a family. "Yes."
