As they sat down to discuss their next steps, Jihoon explained a version of the events that left out the supernatural elements. He told Jisoo about Seojun, framing him as a dangerous ex-acquaintance with a vendetta.
Jisoo listened intently, her expression serious. “This sounds really dangerous, Eunji. Are you sure you’re safe with him around?”
Eunji nodded. “I am. Jihoon knows how to handle him. But we need to find a way to stop him for good.”
Jisoo looked thoughtful. “I might know someone who can help. An old friend of mine works in private security. He might be able to provide some protection or at least some advice.”
Eunji and Jihoon exchanged a hopeful glance. “That would be great, Jisoo. Thank you.”
As Jisoo made a call to her contact, Eunji and Jihoon retreated to the kitchen to discuss their plan. “We need to find out more about Seojun’s current whereabouts and what he’s planning,” Jihoon said, his voice low. “He’s not going to give up easily.”
Eunji nodded. “What about the curse? Is there any way we can find more information on how to break it?”
