Chapter Fifteen
Jungkook went home. He's glad that Seokjin is not in their living room because he doesnt know how he will face the older. He doesnt know how he will start explaining things to him.
He walked inside the kitchen grabbing himself a glass of water drinking it in one go, it just shows how much he's nervous by confessing to the older. He knows that he needs to say it now. He doesn't want Seokjin to hear it from other people.
Seokjin trust him and he doesn't want to break that trust.
He went inside their room nervously. He cracked a smile when he heard 'For The First Time in Forever' booming to the older's laptop. He's probably watching Frozen again. He walked towards Seokjin kissing his forehead before going to their walk-in closet to get his pajamas.
When Jungkook is done taking his bed, he sat across of Seokjin that made the older stared at him with his eyebrows raised since the movie is already in his favorite part wherein the trolls are singing as they saw Anna and Kristoff together.
Seokjin crinkled his nose when Jungkook suddenly closed his laptop putting it on top of their side table. After making sure that the gadget is in a safer place, the younger stared at his boyfriend once again this time holding his hands carefully.
Jungkook is afraid of only one thing and that is, hurting Seokjin. He doesn't want the older to get hurt especially get stressed out given the situation he's currently in.
"Baby..."
As if Seokjin can hear the worry and fear in his voice that it made him gulped down now afraid of the unsaid words of Jungkook. The fact that the younger looks to serious screwed Seokjin's mind, literally.
"I met Yura today. You know that, right baby?"
Seokjin nods his head. If he's not shaking a few seconds ago, he is now. He can feel his hands turning cold and his shoulders visibly tensed that Jungkook needs to placed soft kisses in the back of his hands to calm him down.
Seokjin is beautiful, so damn beautiful. That's why Jungkook doesn't know why he can get so insecure sometimes especially with boys and girls around the younger. Although, Jungkook never fails to make sure that Seokjin is enough for him, the older still has his doubts and it's coming back again upon mentioning the name of her pretty ex-girlfriend Park Yura.
"What's the matter, Kookie?" The older slightly raised his voice,
He's anxious and he badly wants to know what happened awhile ago that made Jungkook all serious.
"Can you promise that you'll let me explain first?"
Seokjin gulps down not liking the tone that the younger used, it made him want to vomit and never want to see the younger again afraid that his next words will hurt him.
In the end, the older nods his head. He will hear whatever it is if its concerning Jungkook and their relationship.
"Well! Yeah. I met up with Yura cause she told me that she got something important to say and that is," Jungkook take in a sharp breathe trying to think how to say it easily, "that is actually me having a child with her." He blurted out.
Jungkookbit his lower lip and that's when he realized that he's holding his breathebecause of how nervous he is and the fear starts to build up in him when aminute passed and Seokjin is not even saying anything... just staring at him
"What? You have a kid with her?" Seokjin said raising his voice,
And Jungkook wants to curse so much when he saw Seokjin's eyes glistened because of the tears that he's trying so hard to prevent.
All the younger could think about is how he's such an asshole. What's his difference with his bestfriend Taehyung now? Just like him, he hurted Seokjin too.
"That's a one time thing and we had s*x when im still with her, baby. We broke up and she just got out of our sight, remember? I also don't know about it." Jungkook frantically said,
He's seconds apart from being hysterical. He can clearly see that the older is hurting because of the news he just delivered and he expected him to kicked him out of the house or screamed and hurt him but he got none of that.
"What does she want, then?" Seokjin shut his eyes closed.
"She sound so confident when she brought up DNA testing but she wants us to take the little girl in because of her f*****g conference." Jungkook said.
What he said is too much and the fact that the kid needs to stay here with Seokjin all day worries him. He doesn't know how will Seokjin take this.
Yes, he loves Seokjin so much and their unborn child but if incase that the kid Yura is talking about is his, then he also wants that kid to be a part of his life and even though it will be too much to ask, he hopes that Seokjin will understand.
"Wow! So her conference is more important that her kid?" Seokjin asked with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
Jungkook exhaled running his hands through his hair because he's still worried since Seokjin still didn't gave him any response about him having a kid. He's actually waiting for a violent reaction.
"Im sorry to disappoint you, baby. Really, sorry. Im so sorry for hurting you like this." Jungkook said holding both of the older's hands.
Seokjin caressed Jungkook's face looking at him fondly with a faint smile in his face. It hurted him, he thought that their unborn child is going to be the first Jeon but he thought wrong. He wants to yell at Jungkook but that would be selfish. In the end, he understands.
Seokjin understands because he loves Jungkook so much and love always understands anything. Love doesn't focus on someone's flaws and it's also not a competition as to why Seokjin understands.
"It happened when we're still not together. It's okay, baby." Seokjin leaned down to kiss his boyfriend's cheeks for a couple of times.
He hugged Jungkook and when the younger was about to pull away, he hugged him thighter biting his lower lip. He wants to hug him, just hug him... to hide his tears, to hide that even if he understands, it still hurts.
"That's your kid and you have to make up for all the years you're not with her." Seokjin shuts his eyes closed as he let his tears stream down his face, Jungkook wouldn't see it anyway, he wouldn't let him see it.
Seokjin wants to understand and he does. The child of Jungkook doesn't have anything to do with the girl, she's innocent. He will let her in not just because Jungkook told him so but because she wants the girl to know her father, she doesn't want her to grow up hating Jungkook just because he's with him.
"I love you so much, Kookie. So much."
