Chapter 4 It was two months before I was in a Spin class taken by Chris again. I sometimes wondered if he saw my name on the list for a class and avoided leading that one. Then I wondered where I could borrow a stepladder to get the hell over myself. Two months was a long time to go without a cigarette, but I’d made it this far. And far from getting fat, I was down a waist size. I didn’t weigh much less, because I was putting on some muscle.
