Chapter Two; Kill It

    Glacier looked at me shocked, then he said," Follow me." as he grabbed my hand, I snatched my hand out of his grip," Look buddy! I don't even know you! Let alone trust you!" His face turned from shock to anger," No! You look! You don't know the first thing about what you just did and I have the answers! But you want to sit here and fight! Were leaving!" He started to walk away and I said," No." He looked at me, this time I could actually see the smoke coming from his nose. He walked to me and grabbed my arm and started to walk away. I put my heels into the ground and pull my arm, but my body kept moving with his, so I reached back and smacked him. Glacier stopped and let go, letting his bag that was on his back down and looking at me," Fine you wanna fight, lets go. If I win, you come with me, if you win, I leave and never return." I nod, but before I knew it he reached back and I could've swore I saw fire light to his hand as his fist went into my side and I fell to my knees. I gasped for breath as his hand hit my spine, my stomach hitting the concreate ground and I look up to find him looking at me,'' I think I won." I closed my eyes as I felt him pick me up and him walking away with me in his arms. 

    Once I wake up I am laying on a bed with Glacier sitting in the seat next to my bed," Hey there. I could've killed you, you know I almost did. Hehe.... Sorry." I looked at him and blissed, as I grabbed the water next to the bed and drank it. "Ok, Now I have questions and I want answers." He looks at me and nods," Who are you exactly?" That question makes him smile," I'm your brother." I laughed and then realized that he was being for real," I was left as a baby on the steps of a ladies house that I called grand, she's dead so try again." He looks at me," You were left there because we don't have parents. The gods created us and gave the world us, so we could teach the people of Earth how to control fire and show how dangerous it is." This made me laugh even more, that I felt the burning feeling in my stomach," I hate everyone, no one but grand has done anything good for me, I want to kill everyone more then anything else." He smiles," That's why they left you with the lady, you were tainted and created nothing but destruction within a touch." I look at him with seriousness," What do you mean, destruction?" Glacier clears his throat then says," We can make fire. Control it. And destroy things with it." This didn't make sense to me, I could control fire? That in some ways explained Jacksons face and the school lighting into flames, but why didn't I ever make the fire before. I mean I heated stuff up for grand all the time, she would tell me that my heat is a super power that I should use to get read of the assholes on this planet. I always agreed, but mainly because she was the only person I had ever met, I stayed home school, but when that teacher dies there isn't much that can be done for the rest of the lessons, so I started school and ended up killing people. Now everything that Glacier says makes sense. 

    I look at Glacier who is now looking at me like I was a locked book that just got opened. "Thank you for telling me all of this, but why didn't you come find me sooner?" Disappointment filled his face and he looks at his own hands," I didn't know where they dropped you. But when I saw the smoke from the school I knew it was you, you had just figured out about this power that you didn't know how to control, I knew that you were going to need some help so I moved as fast as I could to get to you. Then I found you watching the building become in flames, I knew you were lost and confused I didn't know that whoever had taken care of you had died. How did it happen?" I knew the answer to that, but I didn't want to know the answer. "Doctors say that she was espoused to ash and because of her age she wouldn't be able to fight the sickness it gave her. She was to weak to fight back the sickness that I now know I gave her. She would be so disappointed in me. I wouldn't know what to tell her, I just wish I knew before so she could've been safe from me, I would've left and ran as far as I could've. When I was younger I knew I was different from her, because she would put a cup of cold water in my hands and it would boil, but I never knew it would kill her." Glacier looked as if he didn't know what to say, I couldn't blame him. I'm a monster that kills people and everything I touch. " When I was younger I lived with foster kids. I was left on the street for days, warming myself and no one knowing my secret. When I got into foster care I was hated by everyone, so as I got older I started to slowly burn every single one of them for bullying me, treating me like trash and hurting me. I now think it was worth being alone, but the feeling I felt wasn't worth it.
