The Life Changer

Chapter 2

   ¶¶ Duri ¶¶

I breathed heavily in anger as I paced to and fro in the room.

 "That bastard, I'm going to kill him, I can't wait to lay my hands on him"I rasped talking to no one in particular.

"Why did he have to let me submit the documents?

  Although I'm the one he first introduce the documents to but I was too lazy to check it until my personal assistant told me about the importance.

   Gosh!

   "Why did I have to lose such an opportunity?

   "It's once in a lifetime."

I walk to my phone on the bed and grab it, I quickly scroll through it and dial Draco number.

    "How's it?"

   "It's ready sir"

     "Okay then"I replied and hung up immediately.

    My name is Duri, the first son of the King, I'm the most arrogant, most favoured and the king's favourite, Alexander has been a choking bone on my neck since his mother came to the palace with a baby, although he's the king son, he's richest, coldest and powerful among us.

  We didn't dare look at his face when he's talking or else we will be burnt into ashes.

   Being the first son, I have lots of opportunities to be richer than Alexander but I'm not ready to work for my money, I'm only expecting the day the crown will be placed on my head.

    When all the king's wealth will be mine, then, I'll be able to have full control in the palace and chase  Alexander out of here completely.

    ¶¶ Ella  ¶¶

   I got to the school and the first person to welcome me is Nana, a new girl in school who has been clinging to me since the day she was admitted. 

   Although, she has been a good friend and companion but my introverted lifestyle couldn't let me get acquainted with her well.

    I've been trying to be more friendly but I couldn't.

   "How are you doing?" She asked smiling sheepishly as she help me with one of my bags and I smiled.

   "I'm fine, and you?"

     " I'm good"

   "And, good news"She gushed happily and I furrow my brows.

"Alexander is coming here today"

"The founder of the school?" 

       "Yes," She nodded.

     " Why is he coming today?

    " Why should he come today?

      " I hate seeing people like him"

   " So finally, I'll be able to meet this dude for the first time, but I heard he's always on a mask, what if he's ugly?"

    " I don't know Ella, you didn't expect me to know maybe he's ugly or handsome"

    " I know but there are lots of rumours saying that some of the personal maids and slaves have seen his face before but they didn't dare to disclose it"

      "Anyone who dares will face their demise"

   " Yes, and also, he's very cold, he doesn't talk to people, that's why his brothers don't like talking to him"

     " Yes, they do fight a lot"

   " Yeah"

   " Finally" She mumbled as she drop the bag carefully beside my seat, few of the students are in the class already expecting the teacher.

Soon, the woman entered and we settled down for the work of the day.

   ¶¶Alexander ¶¶

" I've always warned you to stop having problems with your brothers, you can ignore those bastards" The dread Doctor chided and I sighed.

    " I need to give them the piece of their own cake, I can't allow them to go scot-free"

    "And you're hurting yourself through that, your nose will be bleeding for days anytime you get overly angry, I've always been warning you, and your mom is quite hypertensive, did you want to kill her?"

   "Fine, I won't talk to them again"

  "You've been making that promise lots of times, but I'll take this as a "yes"

  "Okay" I nodded tiredly and we used some soft tissue paper to wipe my nose.

   " Done" He mumbled and I lower my head back.

   " So, here are some drugs you will use to reduce the bleeding and make sure you use it" He warned and I nodded.

    I put on my mask back and he groaned.

     "That annoying mask, I'm gonna steal it one day"

   "You aren't gonna do that"

 I stood up to my feet and walk out of the room thereafter.

   ¶¶ Ella ¶¶

   After we are done with the fourth class, I pack my books back to the locker and Nana walk up to me.

"Let's go to the cafeteria, I'm so hungry"

   "When will Alexander come?"

    "By two pm, we are only having some minutes left, so we should go to the cafeteria to eat"

   "Okay, let's go quickly"

  We rushed quickly to the cafeteria and we ordered our food, I carried my own tray to a small table in a corner and she came to join me.

We quickly finish our meal and she checked the time.

    "Oh My God, it's some minutes after two"

 "What!, we must not be late there, let's go quickly"

     " I don't mind if we stay here, besides there's nothing special going on"

I rushed my words and she drag my hand as we both ran to the hall amidst the crowd.

Gosh!

  "I never knew there are lots of students here."

   "Why are they this many?

   She held my hand tightly as we tried to squeeze ourselves among the crowd but they keep pushing us, she look at me and release my hand.

    "Come quickly, I can't hold you any longer, we still have to use the stairs" She yelled and I nodded.

   I continue to squeeze myself among the student and we both trail down the stairs, mistakenly, I matched on my hanbok and tried taking another step when I fell over the stairs.

    "Ahhh" I scream as I have expected, only to land on the hard tiled ground when I landed on a body.

   My hair got loosened and it cover my face including the person I fell on.

   I quickly remove my hair from my face and the students scream.

"Alex!!!"
