Chapter 14 Danny spent the next couple of weeks in a happier place, in the mountains miles from his troubles in Clearwater. His ancestral home he called it the first summer he brought Grim up for a weekend camping trip. It had been his father’s place, and his grandfathers before that. Ten acres of land, including a small mountain lake with a modest supply of sunfish and catfish, and a one-room cabin, accessible by only one narrow backwoods lane. Besides him, only Clara, Grim, and the propane man came with any regularity, and that was just what Danny needed.
