I clicked on the news alert immediately, my heart pounding as the article loaded. Harbor District wasn't far from here, maybe twenty minutes by car. Close enough that whatever was happening felt like it was creeping toward me. The article was still being updated, information coming in as reporters gathered details from the scene.
