Chapter Five- Naked bodies and Phone Calls

Merricks POV

As I enter my room I remember that Skylla has no belongings so I quickly grab one of my comfortable shirts and a pair of my sweatpants for her. I walk out of my room and use my inhuman hearing to hear into her room. I only hear the shower running so I open the door and take a step inside. The door to the bathroom opens and out walks my naked mate. My eyes travel up her long legs, to her toned stomach, and her perky breast. My heart thumps loudly in my chest as I look at her marvelous body. I move my eyes to her sparkling green eyes and take a very wet swallow.

"Um, I brought these for you to wear. I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" I state.

"It's okay." She says with bright pink cheeks and turns around fast and reenters the bathroom. She swiftly shuts the door and I hear the lock click.

I take long strides until I reach the bed and gently set the clothes down and turn around to exit. I close her door and go back to my room. I can't get the image of her naked body out of my head. I can imagine those long legs wrapped around my body. Sucking those perky breasts and kissing down her stomach. I want to hear my name being screamed out of her mouth and see her bite on those plump, red lips of hers. I want to mark her as mine and put a baby in her belly.  I feel myself grow hard and run to my bathroom. A cold shower will fix this.

After I shower I start to dry myself off but I hear a light knock at the door. I quickly wrap the towel around my waist and walk to my bedroom door. As I open the door I smell vanilla and rain and I see my beautiful redheaded mate. She eyes my wet body for a moment then snaps her eyes up. "Uh, I-I was wondering if I could borrow your phone. I need to call my aunt and inform her about my parents and our people."

"Yes of course, let me grab it for you." I turn around and rush to my bathroom to grab my phone. I quickly walk back to my open door and unlock my phone before handing it to her. "My password is 8178 in case it locks on you." I tell her.

"Thank you, I will return it as soon as possible."

"No need to rush, take as much time as you need, please."

Skylla nods her head and heads back into the room, quietly closing the door behind. I close my door and finish drying off so I can get dressed and see to any pack needs.

Skylla's POV

After I shut my bedroom door I take a deep breath. A part of me wishes I could be one of those small drops of water gliding down Merricks six pack. His strong arms could hold me for hours and I could stare into his beautiful eyes for days. If that towel would have dropped that would have been twice in one day I would have witnessed his nudity, but I guess we are tied seeing how he walked in on me earlier.

I shake my head and dial my aunt's number that I've memorized. It rings three times before I hear my aunt Vivians sweet voice on the other end.

"Hello?"

"Aunt Viv it's Skylla. I have to talk to you, I need to tell you," I swallow down the sob that is caught in my throat. "My pack was attacked earlier today by rogues. I was ordered to take people down to the bunker and hide. After two hours I came out to find... They're dead Aunt Viv. My parents and most of the pack. Our home was burnt down and there's nothing left.'

I could hear my aunt on the other end of the call crying, "Where are you Skylla?"

"The alpha of The Evercrown Pack brought warriors and and cars, they took us back to their pack. Auntie, the alpha - Merrick - he's my mate. I knew as soon as I saw him." I tell her while trying to stay as strong as I can. "Tomorrow we go back to bury our people, I know you would want to be there to say goodbye to my mom."

"Yes, I will be there. I promise darling." She says after she sniffles lightly into the phone. "I'm sorry you had to go through this alone. What do you plan on doing about the rest of your people?"

"Well after we are finished tomorrow I'm planning on telling them that I've found my mate. I will be speaking to Merrick about combining our packs, if there are people who wish to not stay and join your pack then they may. It's their decision, I know they all lost some too." I tell her.

"You are going to make a strong leader. Please let me know when you decide to go back to your land so I can meet you there."

"Of course, I will call you tomorrow." I tell her and hang up the phone after we say our goodbyes.
