“How did it go?” Merrick asks as I exit the car.
“We had to improvise but we have the warlock Alpha.” Val answers with a smile on her face.
“Improvise?” Merrick questions. He holds me in her arms and breathes in my scent.
“I know it isn’t ideal but we had to steal him. I know how my uncle is and I figured we may need to come up with another plan in case he wouldn’t allow us to take Benjamin.” I tell him.
Merrick releases a sigh, “This may cause us some problems Sky. I really wish you would have talked to me about this beforehand.”
“I know and I’m sorry.” I look over and see a few of our warriors carrying the unconscious body of Benjamin out of the car. “Please take him to the pack hospital. He has wounds that need tended to and I’m sure he hasn’t had a proper meal in a while.”
