The next day in kamila apartment, kamila couldn't stop thinking of what John was talking about . “ that guy should be crazy” she murmured. She stood up and slapped her face cheeks slightly “ what are you doing?, “You lost your job and here you are looking for an explanation” she muttered to herself. She went to the shower and came out ,ten minutes later she was wall dressed in a dark blue shirt and suit and went to look for a job in MAC cosmetics. She Saw their vacancy.post for a salesgirl on their website the other day and decided to try her luck .

She walks out of her apartment locks the door and goes out of the house waving her hand to passing cabs , two minutes later she stopped a cab and entered. “Where to?” the driver asked , kamila replied MAC cosmetics and the driver drove . Ten minutes to twenty minutes later they got there , the driver parking in front of MAC cosmetics the building, kamila pays her fare and walked out of the vehicle. Kamila looked up to the building and admired it. She walked in turns out the building was just has beautiful as she imagined with expensive furnitures , shelves containing specialized products which brought in hundreds.of customers daily. Kamila walked towards a sales girl with a name tag on her chest Emily and asked “ please where can I be interviewed for the sales girl vacancy position. Emily “ oh you are here for the job my boss isn't around yet but you can wait for him come” showing kamila to the seats. Kamila walk towards the seat and Sat down. She waited for close to three hours almost falling asleep before the Emily came to her “ ma his back and ready to see you” kamila responded “ ooh!! Okay” and Emily walked to her boss office and kamila followed suit entering the office first was Emily . Emily notify her boss she is here and left just to enter and see John on the seat . Kamila shocked that John was the boss of MAC cosmetics and was scared he wouldn't give her the job cause of the way she spoke to him the other day. John still typing something in his computer asked her to sit down. “Give me your resume” John said still looking at his computer, kamila handing over the documents . John collects the documents and goes through it “ so your name is ...” he looks up to see the person and shouted “kamila , what are doing here?” , kamila replied gently “am here for the job” . John laughs out loud “why do you want to work here I told already you have a company Odell industries, why don't you just go there and resume your position?” Kamila furious replied “ you don't want to give me the job just say it and let me leave” , john still laughing said“ so if i were to give you the job, will you still be speaking to me coldly, “of course not” she replied. John stretches his hand to shake her and says “then you are hired” kamila stunned stretched her and and they both shook hands. “ you start first thing tomorrow morning” she replied “yes sir” john sits back on sit while kamila goes out of the office. “Sir” john gestured .

Kamila gets back to her apartment and Sat back on her bed thinking “ I couldn't believe he was the boss, and why does he keep telling me about Odell industries ? ,what is wrong with him” while thinking about what just happened kamila phone rang. It was Sofia the nanny she paid to take care of her siblings for her while she worked abroad, she picked up. “ Hello “ kamila said . Sofia responded “ Henry and Joseph weren't allowed in school today because they couldn't pay their school fees as a result . Kamila mood saddened “ don't worry I'll send some money soon , I just got a job when I get paid I'll send some more” she hung up on the phone and checked her savings account and sent her last money to Sofia's account. “ I'll just have to go hungry for some days” she thought.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, kamila wondering who was knocking on her door this late. So she walked towards the door and opened the door only to be covered in the face by a bag and knocked out and carried out by a group of men into a black truck. Josh who was in front of the house drinking witnessed the scene because he couldn't be seen by the men in black because he was covered by the bushes around the house. He immediately called 911 , they picked up a d asked “this is 911 what is your emergency” Josh explained everything. Soon after the police arrived taking samples and turning kamila apartment into a crime scene.

Meanwhile back at the station was detective Grimes on his desk , and his partner James discussing when an officer went to their desk and dropped a file “what's this” Grimes asked. The officer replied “this is a case you guys will be working on” . “Since when do you give us jobs?” James asked. Officer replied “ oh no I was just asked to give the files” . Grimes opened the files “what is this case about” . Officer replied “we could be forced entry and k********g, we are not sure if it is a homicide yet that where you guys come in”. Grimes looks closely at the picture “I know this girl” he said , “from where” Peter asked , “oh I remember, I saw her in the driveway the other day she seemed troubled” Peter and Grimes Walks out of the station in hurry to kamila house “ if she seemed worried then , I guess she's in a lot trouble now!!!” Peter said . “ I tried to help her but she wouldn't listen to me so she even ignored me, I just hope she is still alive” . They entered Grimes car and headed towards kamila house
