“Are you ready to go, Sophia?” Asher asked her.
“Yeah, I guess.” Sophia replied in a cold tone.
“Are you still mad at me? I was just protecting you, Sophia. I have some duties to attend to and I can’t protect you when I am not around, so that was what’s best for you.” Asher explained after he sensed that Sophia was cold to her the past days.
