They made plans to see one another Wednesday night after work. Brian and Stephany invited them to dinner, and despite Mike’s desire to spend an evening alone with Danielle, he agreed. They had a great time together and remained at the restaurant for over two hours. Mike found Brian to be relaxed and easy going and felt comfortable in his presence. With short, jet-black hair, his appearance was in sharp contrast to Stephany’s bleach-blonde hair and wide eyes. Her high-strung attitude was offset by her genuine friendliness and love for others. A couple years older than Mike and Danielle, they had recently become engaged and were planning to wed the following summer.
