VI The Joy Of Friends Enjoying a summer lacking in humidity, Mike and Danielle seized every opportunity to explore New Mexico. They escaped for a jaunt almost every weekend. Mike had spent his entire life in Georgia, venturing out of his hometown only for college. He realized what little in twenty-three years he’d seen of his own home state and enjoyed the chance to explore his new surroundings. Several friends often accompanied Mike and Danielle.
