Her words lightened the pressure on his chest. “Pancakes?” Mike said. Sarah laughed and acquiesced to his request. “But we’ll have to wake up Matt, ‘cus he’ll be upset if he misses out on pancakes.” Noticing the air horn atop his dresser, Mike grinned. After the numerous rude awakenings he had endured since Matt acquired the device, he felt his roommate deserved a taste of his own medicine. How the air horn had found its way into his room, Mike did not know, but he intended to take advantage of the opportunity. “Leave that to me!” he informed Sarah.
