He located his overnight bag and retreated to the bathroom, shedding his jacket and shoes along the way. Brushing his teeth, Mike realized that his towels resided in an unmarked box somewhere in the apartment. He had spent the previous night in a hotel and not needed those items. He returned to the main room and eyed the packages. A box marked ‘kitchen’ sat atop the breakfast bar and he pulled off the wrapping tape. Within he discovered a roll of paper towels. It would suffice for tonight and he left it in the bathroom after washing his face. There was a chance he might not find toilet paper right away, either.
For better or worse, this would be the first night in his very own apartment. After thanking God for a safe journey, Mike prayed once again that he had made the right decision. Geo
