Oh, s**t. I can't believe I almost let that slip out, but I can tell from Ruby and Gabby's face that they are going to question me. "What were you going to say?" Ruby innocently asks. "Quinn. Max's mom's name." They both stare at me confused as hell as to how I knew her name. "Quinn? Her name isn't Quinn, it's Cassidy." Travis corrects me.
"Oh, oops. My bad. I'm not good with remembering names." I think of the quickest reply I can come up with. It's not completely a lie, I do have a difficult time with remembering names. Because of this, Ruby and Gabby look like they believe it. "Wait, when did you meet his mom?" Ruby again asks my questions. "He didn't. I told him about her though the other day when we were hanging out." I feel relieved when Max saves me from this situation.
