"R-really?" Xander stutters out in shock. I nod my head, "You have been the best Beta and I trust you to be the Alpha the pack deserves. I know you won't let me down." I assure him with all honesty. A single tear leaves his eyes as he engulfs me in a hug. "Thank you, Ruby. I will do my best to maintain the peace and happiness you and your parents have imprinted onto the pack. I can't wait to tell my mom and dad!" Especially my father. This will prove to him that I'm not a letdown of a son.
