Out of nowhere, Aunt Helen appears by my side. "I don't think you being here is a good idea, Henry. Just leave." My dad rolls his eye at her. "I wasn't asking you." He spat at her with disgust.
"Dad. Please. I don't want any trouble here." I try to reason with him, but I can tell he is determined to talk with my mom. Annnnnd, off he runs. Ugh. I easily outrun him and stop him from getting any closer to my mom and the others.
"CASSIDY!" He screams at the top of his lungs. Well, now the entire world knows he is here.
My mom approaches us, hand in hand with Travis. Oliver and Caitlin are also hand in hand. Xander, Gabby, and Ruby make their way forward. Taking her place beside me, I grab her hand and squeeze it. The look on my dad's face was priceless. One of pure shock and anger.
