La Naïveté

Chapter 1

Depressing that's how you describe the feeling of a love sprouted to absence with a seed if you are still a student and still need to study to graduate and thinking of future without your parents knowing about it, a must-be-single mom gave birth to a child that has beauty and innocence of clouds in the sky thoughts that coming out of her mind while looking at the baby girl, she said a name but no one understands because the baby really cries so loud, even she just neglect what she said, she knows to herself it won't be too long before they'll be separated from each other. Maybe you're asking if where is the father of this child? Well, just like other boys who don't know how to be a real "Man", he could be found here on a place we called "nowhere", yes I'm bitter and angry with this part of the story, pretty sure you are also right?

For four months she took care of the baby, tons of words through her heart speaking to her mind, dreams and fantasies of the future maybe that was what it was. "Knocks! It's time now, my friend already found someone." as her friend with serious face knock once on the door and just peak to tell her that for others may mean nothing but for her is a mixture of a frozen burning sword pierced hard to her heart, with feelings so heavy and over flowing tears she brought her child to a friend of this friend of hers, while they're in the car her friend tried to frankly convince her "Are you sure about your impulsiveness? I could raise the child if you want, can I please you?", "We both know your time won't be able to make even a second for my daughter, and you still have papers to pay." her answer while she's holding up her emotions. The moment that they reached the house what she's look at first is how the child's adopted parents looks like, a man shows up first, he's actually a captain so he really have a strong appearance but charming and nice personality, he welcomes them like they knew each other "Hi welcome, is that the child Rana's talking about? How old is she?", Chanjin, a father that can't have his own child due to some man's well known sickness. It's really a pity to think that a man like him, an almost perfect one, can't have a child, not even one, as long as he gets near to the infant he gets this weird and really strange feeling, but, no matter what is it he still shows up his smile, "Oh! You're already here? May I see the baby? Is it a boy? What took you so long to decide and bring the baby here?" I know the last question is quite derogatory as the real mother said nothing but just looked at the floor spaced with hurtful thoughts, she didn't even answer the first though she almost, what can she do about that vexing woman's mouth right? With a dress that makes her look so finesse and high class, Luna is really perfect whenever you see her, yet really frankly open to tell what she feels even though its improper, this woman just pop up saying this kind of thing like a voice of a kitty lingering with a tune of slight sarcasm, that irritating woman, I really wonder how come her husband hasn't leave her yet. Mother replies in a calm voice and struggling heart "She's just four months, I just want her to feel that I love her, I really really love her but I didn't have any choice, and this is the only best choice I could ever think for her, I think if we will be together we'll just be end up both starving while I don't know how to imagine looking at her crying, someone like me with her, nothing I can do but just look at some part of my life drowning in tears and starving. It's the best, the least that I can do for her." at last the water behind the eyes that have been held up still falls until the mother's soul kneels the ground, "I may not know how much you feel right now, but I just want you to know that you are doing the right thing. And when the time comes you still could meet her in the future and maybe recognise you as her mom." Chanjin told the mother after seeing how a tear could turn into a never ending flow within eyes, "Maybe you're right, I'm just really praying for that one day she understands. Don't worry I won't take her back from you, I just want to see her in the future being the best that I knew she will be." she replied "Yeah, I think we better get going also, or else your decision will change soon." as her best friend also tries to fight the unseen pain that throbbing to her heart is said like a joke, but just to beat the emotions that have been circulating them.

Not knowing about the background of the family, as long as she saw that they are stable within life it's kinda fine, as long as the baby could live. She took a deep breath, then as her tears started to fall hard again, trying to accept the fact and fears within her life that's winning inside her causes the bursting waterfalls in her eyes, even herself trying to believe what was happening isn't true. Deep in her thoughts there are several questions and there's also appearing word "but", still that let her won't think twice about what she'll do. "I Love You, remember that, I d-did t-t-this coz I love you so very much! And God knows that! I love you so very much always remember that o-okay? **Kisses the baby** You're e-e-every-y-ythi-iing to meeee." Last words are the most painful ones, that's what I felt as the mother set farewell to her precious one, as they left Luna told her words that she will carry through her heart forever "Hey, I forgot to say thank you! We'll take care and raise her well. So whenever you are ready to meet her you'll see that you've never made a bad decision, in fact you make a good choice. I've already thought of a name for her that you would keep and remember forever with you, Heaven……. Heaven Seville, remember her name." nodding to each other, Luna sees her off with a sweet smile, oh my Luna, I never thought she's a good woman, maybe the word first impressions isn't real at all, you think?

Chanjin noticed that the baby wears something that makes his heart pumps too jumpy, like, what the hell?! What kind of mother would make a four months old baby wear a necklace?!! She could just give it to them and tell them to give it to the baby when she's older, right?!

The baby's neck got wounded from the necklace "Hey baby! Could you help me here please? I don't know what to do, come here now!" daddy mode in panic, Luna just in time entered and locked their door "Huh?! What the hell happened!?" with eyes widened by what she saw, yes, mommy mode also in panic, "That woman, puts a necklace on her daughter." with a trying to calm voice, he said.

Actually their house is kind of prepared for everything, but not the two who live within it, thankfully the wound isn't too deep, they both clean the baby first and hand-in-hand they put medical ointment for the baby's wound then change the baby's clothes. Hours have passed and they are happily playing with the baby, "Have you ever thought of the name yet?!" Chanjin asks while cooking dinner at the kitchen "Heaven, but I wanna add a second name for her, and not a replacement for the first name." Luna replied and looked in the eye of Chanjin who sneaked for a second, because she knows that her husband doesn't want cute names like that, "What? Now your eyes are like killing with curses, I feel like we need to bring that baby back or else I'll be dead with those cursing eyes" humorous answer to Luna, She throw the ball to Chanjin because she's pissed off with his words, yea, cute couples exchanging cute smile, oops, excuses for the single fellas out there, sorry.

Dinner is already in the table, and it's been just 5 hours with the baby but they're having a bit problem with her already, they can't put the baby down, once they do Heaven will start crying, none of them know how to eat or do some errands with a baby carried in their hands, so Chanjin decided that Luna will eat first while he'll take care of Heaven. After dinner Luna, who's washing the dishes, noticed that eight of the bottles are used and aligned at the counter table, I told you that their house is kind of prepared right? Well there's still something missing. It's a bit silly but they forgot to buy a brush to use for bottle cleaning, then Luna began to realize, "You said you're ready for this? Hehe, you almost bought the whole mall, then you still forgot to buy a bottle brush? Just a bottle brush? Hahaha!" Changjin teased her again, Luna smeared and tied her messed hair into a beautiful bun and asked her husband with a serious voice "Who said I'm not prepared for this? Let's make a bet shall we?" Just like other people say, you'll never know a person, even your own wife. "Show me first how you deal with that. Haha!" I don't really think this man knows his wife that well, he smeared back, "Okay, as you wish young master." Luna said that makes Chanjin look at her with a big smile "Hhmmm.. Just erase the young!" Luna added, her husband rolled his eyes on her that made her laugh hard, next thing happened makes Chanjin surprisingly amazed by what he just witness, Luna grabs the hot water and pour it over a pot with a new sponge and uses steel clippers to hold it then few seconds later, after she sterilised it, she starts washing the bottles, with just steel clippers and sponge, a husband that's really appreciate his wife even more, that how I could describe Chanjin's expressions while looking at his wife. "Okay, I will just shut my mouth and won't bully you again, I Love You." waving a white towel hanging from the refrigerator, Chanjin initiates surrendering tone, "Next time…. You know me best right? Now, this week you'll be incharge of cooking and washing the dishes, *smiles widely* Gimme Heaven." Luna said then she brought Heaven to sleep.

As a couple with a new baby in their house is really fun, but it doesn't mean it's easy. Every night they have to be awake to feed the baby, attend the baby's need and calm Heaven whenever she feels uncomfortable or irritated, sometimes Heaven's body clock is different, just like other babies awake at night, sleep by day, that's why one of the couple needs to be awake. Being someone who's lack of sleep is really damn hard, just like one time Luna got to sleep well while Chanjin needs to be awake for Heaven, even he felt so sleepy he fought his headache throughout the whole night up to daylight just to play with Heaven, Luna is just being clingy to show how much she appreciates her husband, after all he let her sleep overnight, "Can't you see? I'm trying to rest here, I've been with Heaven for twelve hours or maybe thirteen, fourteen! I don't know! Please just! Please can you give me some space here to take a smooth sleep?" at first Chanjin is so stubborn but he looks at his own wife's eyes and he knows within him that it's just he needs some sleep and he doesn't need to be mad about it, that's why he ends his sentence with a calm voice. His wife just looks at him in the eyes, just smiles sweetly and nods to him because she truly understands what her husband needs. Chanjin feels irritated and can't get to sleep and Luna noticed that he just keep on changing position to find comfortability to get himself onto sleep, so this concerned wife get a sachet of powdered milk and put it in the cup of water then give it to her husband "Ah, here you go, to lessen your stress so you could go to sleep." Luna, "What do you think that gives me stress now?" Chanjin after drinking half of the milk, "Just between two reasons now, either you're too much concerned with Heaven or you're annoyed by me. Hehe." With a sarcastic laugh Luna told him. "Don't think like that, tell me who could sleep on this couch well? It has a hard foam, not even a little bit soft, I can't even fit my body right! Huhuuu!" Stressed out because of a small couch Chanjin really needs sleep but, "Tell me first who told you to sleep on the couch?" Luna replied with a smile, near to laugh because of her weird husband, "Just me! I can't sleep beside Heaven, or else she keeps on waking up whenever she feels the bed move, so I badly need to be here." he replied with an awful expression, "Oh! What a lovely father we have, by the way I have to tell you something important." hand in hand Luna tells him, "HUUUUWAAAAAAAA! WAAAAAAAAAAA! HUUUWAAAAAAAA!!" Heaven interrupts with sudden loud cry, "You sleep in the bed, I'll just put her in the play pen and give her milk just like what I did to the big baby beside me." looking at her husband again Luna's scored, "Okay Momma! I think I need to be fed also." smiles at Luna while pointing into her chest, Luna carries Heaven and looks at what Chanjin's pointing when she gets it. She immediately grabs the old bottle and throws it to Chanjin laughing "Hahaha! You moron!", "Only to you my dear!" said Chanjin, "I thought you were very sleepy and tired? So you still have energy to take care of Heaven forty eight hours straight huh?" Luna told him, hearing that makes Chanjin rushes himself to sleep he ran to the bed, hugged a pillow and close his eyes, Luna added "I actually thought of the second name already, go with me to register her birth certificate later okay?", "Yeea!" Chanjin answered.
