CHAPTER XIV Monday morning, the busiest day of the week. While there was a mad scramble of people on the roads going to their places of work, the men and women of the Nigerian Police Force were already hard at work. In the main hall of the department building where the rookies had their work stations, files, documents and papers of all sorts were being passed around, many were writing, and others typing.
